Dear PRES Families,
We hope everyone is enjoying a wonderful and relaxing summer vacation! It’s hard to believe we are already about a month into summer, and before we know it, it will be time to begin preparing for the start of another exciting school year at Pablo Roybal Elementary School.
As you begin thinking about back-to-school shopping, we wanted to remind families about a convenient resource our district launched last year called TeacherLists. This website allows families to complete their school supply shopping all in one place, with supplies that can even be shipped directly to your home for added convenience.
To access our PRES school supply lists for the 2026–2027 school year, please visit:
https://app.teacherlists.com/variation/zip/search
We would also like families to mark their calendars for our PRES Open Houses taking place on August 3rd for PreK and August 4th for Kindergarten through 3rd grade:
August 3rd- PreK— 5:00-6:00 p.m.
August 4th- Kindergarten, 2nd Grade & Life Skills- 2:00-3:00 p.m.
August 4th- 1st Grade & 3rd Grade — 3:00-4:00 p.m.
All Open House presentations will begin in the PRES MPR (Gym). Following a brief school overview and introductions, families will transition to classrooms to meet teachers and visit learning spaces.
In addition, we will also be hosting Kindergarten Jump Start on August 4th to help support our incoming Kindergarten students and families as they transition into the school year. More information regarding Jump Start will be shared with Kindergarten families as the date approaches.
Please mark your calendars and plan ahead if time off from work is needed. Attendance is highly encouraged, as this is a wonderful opportunity to connect with staff, receive important information, and help students feel prepared and excited for the upcoming school year.
We look forward to welcoming everyone back soon and are excited for another great year at PRES!
Warm regards,
Elizabeth Pacheco
