Pojoaque Valley High School families,

This is a reminder that all juniors will be taking the ASVAB exam tomorrow. Testing will take place in our computer labs, with sessions scheduled in both the morning and the afternoon.

Students have been emailed their assigned testing time and location. Please remind your junior to check their school email, arrive on time, and bring their fully charged Chromebook.

If you have any questions, please contact the school.

Thank you, and we look forward to a successful testing day for our students.

PVSD will be hosting two sites this summer for the New Mexico’s Summer Reading Program. This program is an innovative free program set to empower 10,000 students from incoming kindergarteners to outgoing eighth graders with focused reading instruction in small groups with trained literacy instructors. This program is being offered free to New Mexico families because reading interventions work. Students who receive focused instruction can get caught up in important reading skills and gain the confidence they need to be successful in all school subjects. Our goals are simple: enhance literacy, track reading progress, and boost confidence and skills in literacy.

This program will be during the month of June for four weeks, Monday-Thursday, from 8:00-1:00, in a 4:1 student/teacher ratio. Students will get focused reading instruction that will help them throughout the school year.

Please register your child here: https://www.literacy.nm.gov/#

Dear Parents and Guardians,

We warmly invite you to attend our upcoming Parent-Teacher Conferences. They will take place this Thursday from 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm and Friday from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm at your child's school. This is an important opportunity to connect with your child’s teacher, review academic progress, discuss strengths, and identify areas for growth.

Your partnership plays a vital role in your child’s success. When families are engaged and informed, students are more confident, motivated, and prepared to reach their full potential. We look forward to working together to support your child’s continued growth and achievement.

Thank you for being an active and valued part of our school community.
