Dear PVSD Families,
This morning, we learned that today will be the final day of the NM Allstars before- and after-school program for this school year. As a result, the NM Allstars program will not be available next week, during the final week of school.
We know this late notice may be inconvenient for families, and we appreciate your understanding. Please plan accordingly for student pick-up and supervision next week.
Looking ahead to the next school year, PVSD is excited to partner with "Champions" for before and after-school programming. A registration flyer will be shared with families soon!
Thank you.

Our cafeteria staff transformed the cafeteria into a graduation celebration hall for lunch today! We truly have the best cafeteria team, and they went above and beyond to celebrate our seniors while creating an opportunity for all students in grades 9–12 to join in the celebration.
May 1 also marked a special day to recognize and honor our school nutrition professionals for their dedication to nourishing students and supporting learning every day. Thank you to our incredible cafeteria staff for all you do for our students and school community!

These students in grades 10, 11, and 12 have earned a cumulative grade-point average of 3.5 or higher this school year! PVHS Interim Principal, Deena Aggad, and Superintendent, Dr. Channell Segura, both spoke about the excellence these students, families, and recognized educators bring to our district, and that they represent "Brilliance by Design," because brilliance does not happen by accident, it is built. It was a beautiful gathering of family, friends, food, recognition, and appreciation in a beautiful space.

The Pojoaque Valley School District was honored to host a requested visit from our New Mexico Teacher of the Year, Mrs. Nancy Orta, at Pablo Roybal Elementary School! Mrs. Orta, an elementary teacher at East Picacho Elementary School in Las Cruces, visited with teachers and read with students. It was such a great experience to host her, her husband (also an elementary school teacher), and Dr. Janelle Garcia with the NMPED, at our school and district. Congratulations, Mrs. Nancy Orta, on this well-deserved accomplishment and recognition!

🍎✨ Today kicks off Teacher Appreciation Week! ✨🍎
