EFFECTIVE SEPTEMBER 23, 2026
Due to heavy rain and current road conditions, bus transportation will be affected in the following areas:
🚌 BUS 9
Students who live on County Road 84C and along Sandy Way will need to meet the bus at the designated stop at:
📍 Evergreen Trailer Park and Sandy Way
🚌 BUS 13
Students who live along County Road 117N and County Road 119N will need to meet the bus at:
📍 Nambe Church
🚌 BUS 18 & BUS 13 – N. SHINING SUN ROAD
The bus stop for ALL STUDENTS who live along N. Shining Sun Road will temporarily be located at:
📍 Corner of N. Shining Sun Road & White Sands
⚠️ AM & PM ROUTES – ALL GRADE LEVELS ARE AFFECTED
These temporary changes are being made for the safety of our students and bus drivers due to current road conditions.

Welcome Adrienne Lewis-Martinez to the Elk coaching family as our Middle Cheer Head Coach. Below is a statement from Coach.
I’m a proud Pojoaque alumni, Class of 2017, so having the opportunity to come back and coach in the community that I grew up in is really special to me. Cheer has also been part of my own journey, including cheering at Northern New Mexico College, and I’m excited to now experience the sport from the coaching side.
Outside of cheer, I work full-time and am continuing my education in Business Administration and Management. Most importantly, I’m a wife and a mom to an amazing four-year-old little boy who is the light of my life. My faith and my family are the foundation of everything I do. 🤍
This is my first year as a head coach, and I’m looking forward to learning and growing right alongside my team. I believe good leadership means being willing to listen, communicate, and continue learning. My goal is to create an environment where every athlete feels supported, challenged, valued, and encouraged to give their best.
A couple fun things about me: I love working out and staying active, and I love crafting and creating things! ✨
I’m so grateful for the opportunity to be part of this program and can’t wait to see what we build together.

📊 Our 2025–2026 NMPED School District Report Card is here!
We are pleased to share progress in two key areas: districtwide English Language Arts proficiency increased from 36% to 38%, and science proficiency increased from 16% to 28%. These gains reflect the hard work of our students and staff.
The report card also shows that 94% of our high school students participated in college and career preparatory courses or assessments, above the state rate of 90%. Our reported four-year graduation rate was 82%, compared with 81% statewide. The graduation figure reflects the Class of 2025.
We also have work to do. Math proficiency declined from 13% to 11%, and regular attendance remains a priority. We are using these results to strengthen instruction and work with families to support consistent attendance.
