All Students in Grades 6th-12th Will Be Required to Wear IDs at School Every Day
Cell Phones Will Not Be Permitted During Designated School Hours (Yondr Pouches Will Be Given to All Students in Grades 6th-12th)
Chromebooks Will Be Distributed to Students in Grades 4th-12th
New School Start and End Times
Pablo Roybal Elementary School and Pojoaque Valley Intermediate School: 8:10 a.m. – 4:10 p.m.
Sixth Grade Academy, Pojoaque Valley Middle School, and Pojoaque Valley High School: 7:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
July 21st-23rd: Student Registration for all Students at Pojoaque Valley High School
July 21st and 22nd from 9:00-6:00
July 23rd from 7:00-4:00
Online Registration: All students K-12 (returning students' families should have received an email from Edupoint Synergy with the online registration link. If you did not receive this, please reach out to our Student Information Coordinator, Peggy Mares, at pam@pvs.k12.nm.us
In-Person Registration: All students 4th grade-12th grade to pick up chromebooks, student IDs, class schedules (request for schedule changes), purchase athletic passes and pay any fees/fines on accounts
New-to-district students/families must bring the following (Returning students/families do not) :
Legal guardian with driver's license
Student birth certificate
Student immunization records
Two utility bills showing physical address
July 28th from 8:00-4:00: New Employee Orientation
July 29th from 8:00 to 4:00: Schools Open for Teachers and Staff to Plan and Prepare (Optional)
July 30th–August 3rd from 8:00 to 4:00: Returning Staff Professional Development and School Readiness
August 3rd: PreK Open House from 5:00-6:00
August 4th (Morning): Jumpstart Day (PreK, Kindergarten, 4th, 6th, and 9th Grades)
Students report at their regular school start time
Dismissal at 12:00 p.m. for 6th and 9th grade students
Dismissal at 12:45 p.m. for Kindergarten and 4th grade students
Bus transportation will be provided
August 4th (Afternoon): Open House K-12
Open House at SGA/PVMS/PVHS from 1:00-4:00
Open House at PRES: Kindergarten, 2nd, and Life Skills from 2:00-3:00
1st and 3rd Grade from 3:00-4:00
Open House at PVIS: 4th Grade from 2:00-3:00
5th Grade from 3:30-4:30
August 5th: First Day of School for All Students
