Dear Parents and Guardians,
Due to a current shortage of bus drivers (six vacancies), we have had to adjust some of our transportation services. At this time, we are shifting from individual bus stops to designated “super stop” locations in order to continue providing reliable service for our students.
Super stops are centralized pick-up and drop-off locations that allow us to maintain routes safely and efficiently with limited staffing. We understand this may require adjustments for some families, and we appreciate your flexibility and support.
Our transportation department will implement the following service adjustments starting Monday, March 23, 2026. Families may experience adjustments to bus routes and schedules, possible delays in pickup and drop-off times, and the consolidation of select routes.
We understand that these changes may create inconvenience, and we sincerely appreciate your patience and cooperation as we work to maintain safe and dependable service for our students.
Bus 1 Changes
The Bus 1 route will be split between Ms. Lenora Martin and Mr. Michael Cordova.
AM Routes
Bus 1 – Driver: Ms. Lenora Martin Pickup Location: Pojoaque Valley Cemetery (Camino Rincon)
● PVHS/PVMS: 6:45 a.m. PRES/PVIS: 7:45 a.m. White Sands Area – Bus 13 (Driver: Mr. Michael Cordova) Pickup Location: White Sands Blvd. at North Shining Sun intersection

â—Ź Old Pueblito Road: Students will be picked up at the cemetery.
Please ensure students arrive at their designated stop at least 10 minutes prior to pickup time.
PM Drop-Off Locations
Parents may pick up students at either location:
PVHS/PVMS:
â—Ź Pojoaque Cemetery: 3:00 p.m.
â—Ź Pojoaque Wellness Center: 3:05 p.m.
PRES/PVIS:
â—Ź Pojoaque Cemetery: 3:50 p.m.
â—Ź Pojoaque Wellness Center: 3:55 p.m.
Note: Students along Old Pueblito Road will be dropped off at the cemetery.
Bus 15 Changes
Driver: Mr. Padilla
AM Pickup – Garcia Tires Bus Stop
â—Ź PVHS/PVMS: 6:25 a.m.
â—Ź PRES/PVIS: 7:20 a.m. Please ensure students arrive at the bus stop at least 10 minutes prior to pickup time.
PM Drop-Off – Garcia Tires
â—Ź PVHS/PVMS: 3:00 p.m.
â—Ź PRES/PVIS: 3:55 p.m.
Bus 8 Update:
Driver: Mr. Martinez Bus 8 will also transport students normally assigned to Bus 7. Pickup and drop-off times will remain the same for both morning and afternoon routes across all school sites.
