Superintendent of Schools / Interim Superintendent
The Pojoaque Valley School District is seeking an educational leader who will display ethical and professional conduct in all actions. The successful candidate must demonstrate prior experience in personnel management and be able to work collaboratively with the Board to enhance school and community relations using effective communication systems.

The salary will be between $160,000 and $190,000, depending on qualifications and experience. 

Please note the following: The salary for an Interim Superintendent will be negotiable, depending on the individual's experience. The duration of the Interim Superintendent is dependent on the hiring of a permanent Superintendent.

 Minimum Qualifications:

  • MA or equivalent degree in School Administration or related field
  • NM Administrative License
  • 5 years minimum public school administration and supervision experience
  • 5 years minimum teaching experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with school administrative programming such as budget, finance, Human Resources, and capital improvements. 
  • Experience with district operations such as transportation, safety, and internal/external partnerships.      
  • Experience with educational infrastructure and related student achievement performance measures.
  • Experience supporting diverse and multicultural students and their community. 
  • Experience as a lead executive with responsibility to work with a governing entity such as boards, councils, and commission.
