Superintendent Segura and her team enjoyed visiting Pablo Roybal Elementary and celebrating teachers who are committed to elevating our kids! đź’š
The productive struggle with grade-level standards utilizing HQIM was evident in classrooms, and that’s a GOOD thing! With high expectations, consistent instruction, and continued support, our students will rise to the challenge and achieve great things.
A big thank-you to Principal Pacheco, Assistant Principal Berryhill, and the entire school team for the incredible work happening every day!
Together, we are elevating our kids! 💚🤍

📊 Our 2025–2026 NMPED School District Report Card is here!
We are pleased to share progress in two key areas: districtwide English Language Arts proficiency increased from 36% to 38%, and science proficiency increased from 16% to 28%. These gains reflect the hard work of our students and staff.
The report card also shows that 94% of our high school students participated in college and career preparatory courses or assessments, above the state rate of 90%. Our reported four-year graduation rate was 82%, compared with 81% statewide. The graduation figure reflects the Class of 2025.
We also have work to do. Math proficiency declined from 13% to 11%, and regular attendance remains a priority. We are using these results to strengthen instruction and work with families to support consistent attendance.
Thank you to our students, staff, families, and community for your partnership. Explore the attached graphics and visit nmvistas.org for the full district and school report cards.

Dear PVSD Families and School Community,
We are excited to share our new and improved 2026–2027 PVSD Student & Family Handbook! The link is attached below.
https://www.pvs.k12.nm.us/o/pvsd/page/district-handbooksThis year's handbook has been thoughtfully redesigned to make important information easier for students and families to find, understand, and access. It also reflects our ongoing work to create consistent, streamlined K–12 systems and expectations across all Pojoaque Valley Schools.
The handbook provides helpful information regarding school procedures, student expectations, attendance, academics, safety, student services, activities, and other important topics. All information and expectations in the handbook align with PVSD Board of Education policies and are intended to provide students and families with a clear and consistent resource throughout the school year.
We encourage all families and students to take some time to review the handbook together and become familiar with the information and expectations that apply throughout our district.
Our goal is to ensure that every PVSD student and family is informed, supported, and connected to their school. We hope you find the new handbook a helpful, easy-to-use resource throughout the 2026–2027 school year.
Thank you for your continued partnership and for being an important part of the PVSD community. We look forward to a wonderful school year!
