Dear PreK Families,
We were recently informed that PreK teachers were not listed on the online pre-order form. As a result, many families selected “Test” as the classroom teacher.
Please rest assured that all PreK students will still be photographed in their cap and gown today. The photography company will send out proofs in approximately two weeks, at which time you will be able to place your orders.
Thank you for your understanding, and we look forward to sharing these special memories with you!
Warmly,
Mrs. Elizabeth Pacheco

🚍 Transportation Update – Effective March 23, 2026
Dear PRES Families,
Due to a current shortage of bus drivers, the district is making temporary adjustments to transportation services beginning Monday, March 23.
What to expect:
Some routes will shift to “super stops” (centralized pick-up/drop-off locations)
Possible changes to bus routes and schedules
Potential delays in pickup and drop-off times
Some routes may be combined or adjusted
Important reminders:
Please have students at their assigned stop at least 10 minutes early
Review your child’s updated bus stop location and time carefully
Additional Updates:
Some buses (like Bus 1, 8, and 15) have specific route and location changes
The district is actively hiring bus drivers to return to normal routes as soon as possible
We understand these changes may be an inconvenience and truly appreciate your patience and flexibility as we work to continue safe and reliable transportation for our students.
Thank you for your continued support!

Thank you to our community, families, and fans for the incredible support of our Elk and Elkette basketball teams this season. While both teams fell short in the first round of the state tournament, we are proud of the hard work and dedication they and their coaches demonstrated all year.
We appreciate everyone who cheered them on along the way and look forward to what next season will bring!

At this week’s Board of Education meeting, the Board voted to approve Kelly Green as the color of our new football field, staying true to the official colors of our district.
Throughout the discussion and planning process, we received valuable feedback from our community. Many community members expressed strong support for the idea of a gray field, and we truly appreciate the passion and engagement that went into those conversations.
Ultimately, the Board felt it was important to remain consistent with the colors that represent our district. Throughout the past two years, our district, Board of Education, and community worked hard to establish Kelly Green and White as our official school colors, with gray and black serving as accent colors.
We are grateful for the thoughtful input and pride our community continues to show for our schools. Your voices matter, and your engagement helps shape the decisions that move our district forward.
