💚 A Special Thank You to Our PRES Families 💚

As we begin wrapping up another wonderful school year, we want to take a moment to sincerely thank all of our parents and families who joined us for the many events and celebrations we hosted at PRES this year. Your support, involvement, and partnership mean so much to our students and staff, and we are grateful for the strong community we continue to build together.

Today, we proudly celebrated our Kindergarten students during their End of Year Ceremony, and we are looking forward to our upcoming PreK Ceremonies next week! We are also excited to welcome our PVHS Seniors back to campus for their Senior Walkthrough on Thursday, May 21st and Senior Parade on Friday, May 22nd. 🎓

⏰ A friendly reminder that next Thursday and Friday are both half days for students.

📚 Yearbooks have officially arrived! We will begin sending pre-ordered yearbooks home either tomorrow or sometime next week. We also ordered a limited supply of extra copies. If you did not preorder a yearbook and would still like to purchase one, please stop by the front office while supplies last.

Thank you again for an amazing school year, PRES families! 💚🦌

The Pojoaque Valley School District was honored to host a requested visit from our New Mexico Teacher of the Year, Mrs. Nancy Orta, at Pablo Roybal Elementary School! Mrs. Orta, an elementary teacher at East Picacho Elementary School in Las Cruces, visited with teachers and read with students. It was such a great experience to host her, her husband (also an elementary school teacher), and Dr. Janelle Garcia with the NMPED, at our school and district. Congratulations, Mrs. Nancy Orta, on this well-deserved accomplishment and recognition!

Dear 1st Grade Families,

We would like to take a moment to thank all of our dads and special male role models who joined their child for our Donuts with Dad event today. It was wonderful to see so many families come together to celebrate with our students!

We are looking forward to our upcoming Muffins with Mom celebration next Friday, May 8th, and are excited to welcome our moms and special female role models for this special time.

As we prepare for this event, we kindly ask for your support in ensuring that students remain at school for the full instructional day. While these celebrations are meaningful opportunities to connect, they are also part of a regular school day, and continued learning will take place following the event.

Thank you for your understanding and for your continued partnership in supporting your child’s learning. We look forward to celebrating together next week! 💚
