Mr. Carl Marano proudly serves as the principal of Pojoaque Valley High School. With 28 years of experience in education, Mr. Marano has served in a variety of leadership and instructional roles, including teacher, principal, assistant superintendent and superintendent. Mr. Marano is a strong believer in being visible, accessible and collaborative along with building strong relationships. As a resident of the Pojoaque Valley as well as having a broad background in education and administration, Mr. Marano is committed to bringing back the excitement at PVHS while providing a climate of culture of care for all students, staff, and families.

Ms. Rendon is an experienced educator and school administrator dedicated to fostering student success and a positive school culture. She began her career in education in as a secondary mathematics teacher at Peñasco Independent School District, where she also coached athletics. In 2025, she transitioned into school administration as an Assistant Principal at Española Valley High School, where she focused on supporting a safe and positive learning environment, strengthening school systems, and collaborating with staff to improve student outcomes. Ms. Rendon is excited to serve the Pojoaque Valley School District and contribute to its continued success.
