Hello PRES Families,
Congratulations to PRES Student of the Month Tessa Maes. Tessa is a first grade student who was nominated by her teacher Erika Montoya for being kind, helpful and a good friend. She is a true leader in her classroom. Tessa was recognized at the PVSD Board Meeting on Wednesday October 22nd.
We kicked off Red Ribbon Week with an inspiring Drug-Free Presentation from Magistrate Judge Joseph Madrid and the Espanola Municipal Courts. He was joined by the ROTC, Tribal and State Police and several prevention specialists. It was a fun-filled event featuring dancing, taking the Drug-Free Pledge, and even a bicycle giveaway! We had two third grade students, Avyannah Yates and Amarante Jaramillo win bicycles donated by the Pojoaque Pueblo Tribal Police and Catherine Estrada winning a speaker.
