Pojoaque Valley Schools will be on a 2-hr delay tomorrow, December 4th. There will be no school for students in grades PreK-5th grades due to it being an early release day. Drive safely. Thank you.

2-HR DELAY
📅 Monday, December 1st is the 80th day of the 2025–2026 school year and an important 🚌 student bus-ridership count day for PVSD. This count helps determine our transportation funding from the New Mexico PED.

To maximize funding, we encourage all students to ride the bus to and from school on Dec. 1st 🚍. School buses are the safest way to travel 🛡️.

Please remember: All Pre-K–12 students must use their Z Pass cards 💳 for safety and tracking.

Thank you for your support! 🙌 Let’s boost ridership on December 1st! 🟩🚌

We want to reassure our families and staff that the LANL'S chromium plume is not affecting any of our school campuses. We remain in close communication with the New Mexico Environment Department and are actively monitoring the situation to ensure the continued safety of our students and employees.

For community members living in or near the affected area, please stay informed and be aware of any potential health symptoms. These may include respiratory issues such as coughing, wheezing, or asthma-like symptoms, as well as skin reactions like irritation or dermatitis. If you experience any concerning symptoms, please consult a medical professional.

We will continue to share updates as new information becomes available. Thank you for your continued trust and support.

What the GO Bond Is & Why It Matters
A GO Bond is a way for school districts like ours to secure funding for critical facility improvements—things like repairing aging buildings, upgrading classrooms, enhancing safety and security, and ensuring our students have access to modern, 21st-century learning environments. These are the investments that help our children thrive and prepare them for the future.

No Tax Rate Increase
One of the most important things to know is this: the GO Bond will not raise your current tax rate. It simply allows us to continue reinvesting in our schools without adding new costs to you, our supportive taxpayers.

Why Community Support Is Crucial
Our schools are the heart of this community, and when we invest in them, we invest in every child’s potential and in the strength of Pojoaque Valley as a whole. Your support ensures safe, updated facilities that reflect the pride we all have in our schools.
